How does it drive?
It is rare to find an SUV with decent driving dynamics (the Mazda CX-5 is a rare example), and the DS 7 crossback comes quite close, especially in the performance of the performance line with the 2.0-liter diesel. A combination of direct steering and suspension that keeps it surprisingly flat is a fairly sporty journey.
There are four driving modes to choose from – eco, comfort, normal and sport – and everyone is subtly different. The sport also optimizes the gas reaction, steering and suspension and also improves the largest diesel exhaust and gives it a more baritonic touch.
Despite all the Gizmos to isolate the journey to pillows and noises, the DS 7 is not as clever (especially about rougher surfaces) as you may think, but it is generally a comfortable driving experience.
