British Luxury Marque Bentley’s first SUV is a remarkable car and an incredible deeds of engineering.

The trademark Bentley Knurling in the drive mode selector and the equipment button is supplemented by ventilation slots, which are controlled by highly polished chrome organ education. At the top, the Bentayga is equipped with a panoramic roof roof that makes up almost 60% of the total roof surface.
The front seats deserve a special mention. Individually handmade in Bentley’s headquarters in Crewe, northwestland, you have 22-way settings, a six-program massage system, heating and ventilation. The back seats may not have quite as many toys, but the available room is ashamed of a limousine.
As expected, the Bentayga is also full of technology. There is an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 30-language star nav and a selection between three different sound systems. I drove the Bentayga over a variety of streets and it is seriously impressive. As soon as you have adapted to its size, the luxury, comfort, the commanding driving position and the sheer power of the engine is intoxicating.
There are four on-road modes (sport, comfort, ‘Bentley’ and Custom) as well as four terrain modes (Snow & Grass, Dirt & Gravel, Mud & Trail, Sand Dunes), but frankly ‘Bentley’ is sufficient enough . The acceleration would perform a supercar justice. In a car of this size it is just amazing – and of course it whispers calmly during the cruise.
Thanks to the brilliant electronic dynamic driving system from Bentley, the Bentayga delivers an excellent mix of handling and driving quality. As you would expect, there is a little body roll in corners, but it is very well controlled.
It is almost churical to mention the economy, since the price of gasoline (no less available) is not an important consideration if you are on the market for a car in this league, but it is able to record 21, 6 MPG to 296 g/km CO2. An economic diesel (35.8 MPG) arrives later in 2017.
Verdict: The Bentley Bentayga is an SUV with an unbeatable badge and street presence. Powerful, practical, comfortable and luxurious, it is also a surprisingly serious driver car.
